Be careful when dealing with them. They hid mechanical problems from me that have cost me almost $2,000 and I only purchased my truck 2 months ago. Shannon was my salesmen. When the truck arrived in Virginia I heard a loud squeal coming from the engine bay. It was a previously melted serpentine belt and the pulleys were full of melted rubber. Due to the constant slipping of the new belt around the pulleys, I immediately had to put a new serpentine belt on since the old one was cracked and worn. Along with this the idler pulley and tensioner pulley had to be replace at a cost of $200. About 2 weeks later, my alternator went out and I had replace it at a cost of $400. About 4 weeks after this, my power steering pump went out and I'm not sure what this will cost, but I can imagine that it'll be $500 plus. This was all the result of belts slipping around these pulleys. Shame on North Texas Direct for not simply fixing this problem. Along with this, both the drivers and passenger side A pillars (the handles that pull you up in the truck) were broken. They were simply glued back in place as a temporary fix instead of replacing them. These are impossible to fix. I'll have to buy new ones which will cost me $135. They didn't even replace the engine oil. When the truck arrived in Virginia, the oil was already over 3,000 miles over due for a change. The oil change added another $100. The power steering fluid was sludge like which may be another reason the pump went bad. I also had a clogged CCV (crank case ventilation) filter that added another $75. The fuel filter was also incredibly dirt!y!!! This is a diesel truck, it's imperative to have a clean filter if you don't want to buy new fuel injectors. That cost was $100. I could go on about the slight skip in my transmission. I'm praying now that I won't need a new transmission soon. They either are a company you do not want to deal with or they simply sold a bad truck and didn't know it. Either way, it's wrong. Don't buy a truck or car from them. When I contacted Shannon early on with some of these problems, he basically said "well, then engine and transmission are good". Maybe so and maybe not! Look else where for a vehicle.
